Kalinga Gases Pvt. Limited, today an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, was incorporated in 1995 with a vision to be a market leader in the field of industrial gas, specifically, Liquefied Carbon Dioxide gas. To this end, the Managing Director, Ms. Piyali De, and other directors of the company set up a unit in Bhubaneswar for manufacture of liquefied CO2 gas. It was the first of its kind in Odisha, and played an important role in providing quality gas at reasonable prices for the growing industrial market. The company did business all over Odisha and some limited supply to Kolkata. In 2005, in an effort to increase business in the Rourkela belt, a trading depot was opened at Rourkela. Dry Ice, the solid form of carbon dioxide, which manifests completely different properties from the gas, was added to our product list in 2007, at Bhubaneswar
